  37. Is this for a still shot? Maybe your answer is to use other tools
  38. along with LightWave.

  40. Here's what I would do: Render your 3D object with just a black 
  41. background. Then use a program like ImageFX or PhotoShop to 
  42. create a solid color background (the wall). Pick up the logo as a 
  43. brush with transparency so you can see through any holes.
  44.  
  45. Stamp it down using the Lighten mode with a enough feathering to
  46. create a soft shadow. Stamp it down again using the Normal mode
  47. (maybe with a slight feathering for antialiased edges) to put your 
  48. logo over the shadow with the offset you want.
  49.  
  50. Now your wall is a solid color, your shadow is soft, and your logo
  51. has all the colors you want. Save it out in whatever format you 
  52. need.
